Medical Image Processing Group (MIPG) DATA

Created by Yubing Tong, Jayaram K Udupa, and Drew A. Torigian at the University of Pennsylvania.

Summary

This data set includes axial and sagittal T2-weighted MR images through the neck in pediatric patients, along with segmentations of adenoid tissue (Ad), pharynx (nasopharynx and oropharynx combined) (Phrx), nasopharyngeal airway (NPA), oropharyngeal airway (OPA), parapharyngeal fat pads (FP), mandible (Mnd), neck skin surface (N-Skn), palatine tonsils (BPT), left palatine tonsil (LPT), right palatine tonsil (RPT), tongue (Tng), and soft palate (SP). Note that the segmentations of Tng and SP are from the sagittal images, whereas the other segmentations are from the axial images.

Data set size (MB) = 464.
Number of studies = 30.
Number of images = 60.
Number of segmentations = 360.
Number of subjects = 30 (15 normal controls, 15 with obstructive sleep apnea).
