The goal of this project is to analyze on a large scale already existing image data in our hospital image database. Manual and interactive analysis will not be feasible for such large scale analysis and therefore the idea is to employ AAR for this purpose and make necessary modifications. We are developing tools using AAR to segment and analyze body-wide tissue composition in whole-body PET/CT images. Tissue composition and properties will be analyzed to study their ability to prognosticate risks for certain diseases and their treatment effectiveness.
